Rain Music

Rain Music

Hostas cradle rain.
Droplets shimmer in the folds.
Clear, like tiny bells
glittering so perfectly,
you can almost hear them ring.

Photo is mine.

Thanks Gwen. I liked this poem very much myself. And some work and still, some don't. Thank you for encouragement.

I have Hostas. Took me a while to figure they really do like shade or filtered sun. Mine have just begun to bloom. lovely little scene you've captured.
My tanka was just a tad patriotic:

Hi Jules,
I like the last line of your tanka poem, "Life take my hand so we can dance." Isn't that what we all must do.
