November Evening

November evenings offer muted colour; evergreens against the ghostly outline of deciduous trees.  The leafless trees, at rest for the winter, comfort me, give me permission to drop responsibilities, to focus inward and rest.

To rest and let go.

Rest and be.

So absolutely gorgeous and delicate, Carol. You have transformed a prickly spruce into delicate... you're a magician.

Thank you, Gwen. I'm trying harder to recognize the beauty in front of me as it presents itself, instead of always looking for the traditional views and photos.

Beautiful - I love the muted colours and the stillness.

Thanks for comments Jane and Juliet. I love this evening time and the soft light. The photo was taken in front of my sister's home on the Shediac River, near here. November offers such a quiet feel.
