The Royal Wave

The Royal Wave

Birch trees in the breeze.
Leaves flip, green to gold and back
and forth, royal waves.
Tiny heart-shaped hands rotate,
twist and wave, acknowledge us.

Hi Carol. Great metaphor. Those 'leaf wrists' move exactly the way royalty waves. Nice post! Jane

Hi "ahundredyearsago"

Thanks for your comment and for visiting my blog. I am intrigued with your blog. How lovely to have a journal to start from, for the authnetic voice. You've done interesting things with providing historical data and your own take on how it was / and is.
