Magnolia Blossoms
Magnolia blossoms
have been wrapped in fur coats,
since setting last fall.
Now their fuzzy hoods open
and buds peek out…pink.
Though they hold on tight,
still frost takes a few.
You wonder, my
magnolia blossoms…
will they come this year?
You wonder and wait.
Then, one warm spring day,
they are here, and
their "Yes"…their "YES"…
is
extravagant;
magnolia blossoms,
open and
blushing.
Their colours tremble
inside you, echoing;
echoing in a place
so silent and deep,
you forgot
it was there.
Photos are mine.
