Weeding and planting have taken over from writing and poetry.
One creative activity is replacing the other.
Oh, to find a balance.
Hi Carol. Your daffodils are slightly ahead of ours! The flowers on the various maples are as beautiful as any flower, just not as well known! Jane
There are just three daffodils out so far. I like watching the blooms on the trees, so tiny and perfect with the morning light shining through.
All of the weeds in my garden tell me that I'm writing too much poetry!
I'd rather be writng than weeding but can't afford a gardener, so must try to find a balance.
Hi Carol, Your photographs are stunning.. I know achieving such images has as much to do with the photographer(you) as it does with the camera, but would you mind if I asked you what make and style of camera you are using?
... and are you using a tripod or your own steady hand? Thanks!
I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel Xsi that I've had for two years. It has stabilized lenses which are great for wiggly picture takers like me. Sometimes, I use a tripod, but mostly not. When the wind is blowing or I am shaking and can't stop, I set the camera on "action" so it takes the photo faster. I take lots of photos. Law of averages means I get a few good ones. I use a free online photo manipulation program to crop the best ones. See...it's easy.
Thanks for sharing Carol, the "action" mode is a really great idea.. I go bounding off and I always fail to remember to try the functions. I have to steal some time to do more practicing.. some fun time.
