Hi. That little bit of yellow on the wings looks like someone was marking them with a hi-lighter! I am looking forward to feeding the birds this year. We begin to feed them in November. Jane
Hi Jane, The birds are having a rough time staying put on the feeders today; the wind is blustery and shoving them away. I love having feeders close enough to watch these little birds.

They are. Dozens of pine siskins have been gathered, argumentative and hungry at out thistle seed feeders for the past two days. They are fascinating.
