An Autumn Song

An Autumn Song

Bliss Carman (1861-1929)

There is something in the Autumn that is native to my blood,
Touch of manner, hint of mood;
And my heart is like a rhyme,
With the yellow and the purple and the crimson keeping time.

These photos are gorgeous! I love the reds and it is obvious that you do too. Fabulous! Post card perfect. Love them.

Thanks. The reds are my favourites. There were lots of them along the boulevard; hopefully still will be after this storm dies down.

Beautiful red maples and the lamp posts are very stylish!

I was drawn to the contrasts between the bright leaves and the starkness of the black lamp posts.
