Yesterday, we went to the Shediac River to visit
my sister and brother-in-law.
The river was full, geese were flying overhead
and a cool fall breeze was shaking the trees.
We enjoyed the day, the company, the weather but
it was cool enough that Mum needed to wrap up
to keep warm.
Even though the sky was blue and the leaves were still green,
there were tinges of orange.
It was a lovely day by the river.

We had some spectacular days didn't we?
Really pretty place!
Hi Gwen,
We've had wonderful days, even the cooler ones are lovely. I love waking to the cooler, more comfortable mornings, the fog in the air, the crunch of leaves and the colours starting to peek out of the trees.
Hi Mama Zen,
Yes, it is a pretty place and we are so lucky that my sister and brother-in-law invite us to visit...often. It always feels peaceful near the river.
